Emergency Dental Care When You Need It
We Handle Real Dental Emergencies
What's Included In Emergency Treatment
We understand that dental emergencies are unexpected, and financial concerns shouldn’t prevent you from getting the immediate care you need. Dr. Scott Kupetz accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that makes emergency dental treatment affordable through flexible payment plans. CareCredit offers special financing options, including interest-free periods for qualified patients, allowing you to get the painless emergency dental care you need right away and pay over time in manageable monthly payments. Our team will help you understand your financing options during your emergency visit, so you can focus on getting relief from your dental pain without worrying about upfront costs.
A dental emergency is any situation that involves severe pain, uncontrolled bleeding, trauma to your mouth, or risk of losing a tooth. This includes severe toothaches, knocked-out or loosened teeth, broken teeth that expose the nerve, abscesses or facial swelling, and lost fillings or crowns that cause significant pain. If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, you should seek emergency dental care immediately.
Yes, we provide 24-hour emergency dental services for patients experiencing urgent dental problems. If you’re dealing with severe tooth pain, a broken tooth, or any other urgent dental issue outside of regular business hours, contact us and we’ll arrange to see you as quickly as possible. We understand that some situations require immediate attention to prevent permanent damage.
We reserve emergency appointment slots every day. For true emergencies involving severe pain, trauma, or risk of losing a tooth, we can typically see you the same day you contact us. We prioritize getting patients out of pain as quickly as possible.
For pain, rinse with warm water and use floss to remove irritants. For a knocked-out tooth, keep it moist in milk or your cheek. For broken teeth, save the pieces and rinse. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling if there’s facial trauma. Never place aspirin directly on your gums.
In many cases, yes, but time is critical. A tooth has the best chance if reimplanted within 30 to 60 minutes. Handle the tooth by the crown only (never the root) and keep it moist in milk. The longer you wait, the lower the chances of successful reimplantation.
We provide comprehensive treatments including emergency root canals, tooth extractions, fillings, emergency crown placement, and abscess treatment. Our goal is to resolve your emergency completely during your visit.
