Preparation is minimal—one reason Botox fits easily into busy schedules. Avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medications for 24-48 hours before treatment to minimize bruising risk. Fish oil and vitamin E should also be stopped temporarily.
Arrive with clean skin in the treatment areas—no makeup, moisturizer, or sunscreen. Wear comfortable clothing since you’ll be reclining during the procedure. Bringing photos of yourself from a few years ago helps Dr. Kupetz understand your aesthetic goals.
After treatment, avoid strenuous exercise, lying flat, or touching the treated areas for 24 hours. Most patients return to normal activities immediately, though you might have slight redness at injection sites that resolves within an hour.
